The Gaming Experience
Escape rooms are adventure games that immerse the players into puzzle-solving to escape the room they’ve been “locked” in. The idea is simple: assemble a team, find the clues, solve the puzzles, and escape the room! This activity can be perfect not just for date night, but also for wholesome family fun, team building, work outings, or just a fun night out. The rooms at Once Upon An Escape aren’t scary, but instead are enchanting, whimsical, and definitely a challenge for the most limber of minds. The characters from our storybook pages come to life as we journey with the kids who never grow old, work together with the seven dwarves, and plot escapes and adventures with the thieves of old. The selection can cater to different interests, making it easy to look forward to coming back again!
At Once Upon An Escape, each team can pick from five different fantasy rooms, ranging from a time limit of 5 minutes to 60 minutes.
OUAE’s version of this famous tale, the players are challenged to devise an exit plan from a cave as they carry a magic lamp. Leaving without the lamp can result in death (or in this case, a loss), and the ability of players to follow in the footsteps of the King of Thieves is tested!
Players must help the seven dwarfs find a way to bring the fairest of the land back to life! If the team fails, the beautiful girl dies forever, and evil reigns over the land.
In the land where children never grow old, Tinkerbell calls for our help—players will need to outwit the crocodile, find a way to escape the clutches of Captain Hook, and safely make it home.
Once Upon A Time
Soon to open, the latest addition to the OUAE room roster offers players a chance to retrieve stolen artifacts. The players’ ability to determine real artifacts from deceptive illusions will be tested by the thief Rumpelstiltskin himself!
Five riddles will be presented to players and should be solved within five minutes. If unable to do so, players will remain forever trapped under the control of a famed cruel creature.
Varying difficulty for each of the rooms are rated from 7-9 out of 10, depending on the challenge. Each room will be timed with a maximum of 60 minutes, with the Rumplestiltskin room being the exception, which will be timed for 5 minutes only. A team may consist of a minimum of two members and a maximum of six members. Players must be aged 14 and above, but younger players who wish to play should be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older.
