There was a boost in convention attendance from 221,800 in December 2018 to 683,400 in January 2019. The economy of Southern Nevada is in an upward growth, based on the trends for the past two years.
Job growth prevails to be strong as workers continue to increase as shown in the data. Employment had a 0.3% increase from 1,019,000 workers in December 2018 to 1,023,300 workers in January 2019.
